Hi Brian,
I wanted to open it to any CADD package and user, but keep individual sections specific. Did you look at the chat rooms I have created so far? Or the forum. I will be adding boards for the different software packages to make it easy for folks to find topics they are looking for.
As it continues to grow, the boards will branch into sub forums as needed.

Looks like it may have potential.  You focusing on any particular group (Civil 3D, AutoCAD, other) or just any CADD platform?
